Spectrometer indicators aren't both green

WR and VS must both be green before you can scan. Here's how to bring them back.

  1. Close all extra app windows. Multiple LENS app windows trigger red indicators. Keep one window open.
  2. Disconnect and reconnect the USB cable between the probe power source (Part B) and the laptop.
  3. Check the fiber optic cable (Part C). Hand-tighten both 45° connectors — at the probe and at Part B.
  4. Confirm Probe (Part A) is on. Switch should be on; light should be visible at the probe tip.
