Unit appears completely dead

No lights, no screen, no signs of life — work through these checks in order.

  1. Check the power cable at both ends. Confirm it's seated in the wall outlet and in the unit.
  2. Wait 3–5 minutes if the battery was fully dead. It needs a moment of charging before it will power on.
  3. Hold the power button for 5 seconds. A long press forces a power-on attempt.
  4. Reseat the probe power source (Part B). Disconnect and reconnect the cable to Part B; confirm its switch is on.
